Rystrom is the founding father of "The Acumen
Society" (TAS) which evolved into US-Recruiters.com
(USRC) in the Spring of 1998 and into The US-Recruiters
Network (US-Recruiters.net) in March of 2006.
If you ask Rystrom why he started and continues
to run US-Recruiters.com, he would tell you in
one word, PASSION! He will also tell you that
since the industry was so very good to him, he
feels compelled to give something back to the
industry. Rystrom is quick to point out that the
intent of USRC is not for financial gain but to
promote and advance the standards of professionalism
within the recruitment industry. Rystrom has two
principles that he beliefs in and follows. First
he believes that basically there are two types
of people in this world, givers and takers, and
Bob's goal has always been to be a giver. Bob
also believes in simplicity and thus he believes
life would be a lot simpler if we all believed
in and followed one simple rule, i.e. "do
unto to others as you want others to do onto you!'
Rystrom, being very appreciative for the opportunities
the industry presented him, strifes to give something
back to the industry each and every day. His thoughts
and ideas have been featured in such publications
as The Fordyce Newsletter (TFL), the Twin Cities
Today, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, The St. Paul
Pioneer Press, The City Register, and the MAPS
Newsletter. From 1992 until 2000, Rystrom served
on the Board of Directors or on the Advisory Board
of MAPS.* |
