Bob Larson, CPC was one of the founding partners of both Berman
& Larson and Larson Consulting Services (1980). He purchased
the firm from his partner Berman in 1988. He also purchased HR
Pros, a Rose Kane company in 1999, and currently serves as president
of Berman Larson Kane.
Bob is the current Chairman of the Board of the National Association
of Personnel Services (NAPS), a National Organization that currently
represents over 1,200 staffing firms. He was also the convention
chair for the 45th annual NAPS conference, which was held in Baltimore
September 21-25, 2005.
Some
of Bob’s many credits include: president of the New Jersey
Staffing Association (NJSA), district director for the National
Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), national certification
chairman (a program that has certified over 14,000 staffing individuals),
certified employment arbitrator and staffing ethics chairperson
for New Jersey. He has received numerous staffing awards including
several presidential awards and the John Armstrong award. In addition
he is widely published and a recognized speaker to the technology
staffing industry.
Bob’s
employment experience in both the public and private sectors led
to the opening of Berman & Larson Associates. For the past
25 years he has dedicated his energies to improving staffing services
for employers, consultants, contractors, temporary and direct
hire professionals.
Bob
Larson holds a BA degree from New Jersey City University, majoring
in sociology, with a minor in computer science. His graduate work
was done at the New School for Social Research, with a concentration
in human resources and manpower development. Bob also holds the
CPC designation that he received in 1992.
