Qualified Management Recruiters
(QMR) specializes in the recruitment
of Sales, Marketing, Engineering,
Production, Finance, and Human Resources
professionals within the manufacturing
industry. It is made up of former
manufacturing professionals whose
combined talent spans more than 50
years and several professions. They
serve each client until every position
is filled, treating all clients equally
and guaranteeing to recruit quality
professionals at every level.
QMR was founded and is owned by
Scott Heitland. After leaving a
25-year career as Corporate Controller
and Director of Cost Accouting for
a multi- billion dollar manufacturing
company, Heitland returned to Iowa
to explore opportunites outside
his career in finance. He soon joined
Management Recruiters, where he
was groomed by the nationally recognized
recruiting firm and discovered a
new passion: Executive Recruiting.
After two years with Management
Recruiters, Heitland became VP of
Operations for a manufacturing company
recognized industry-wide as the
number two supplier nationwide.
As the company flourished, Heitland
was drawn to helping clients with
their employment needs. In 2004,
he resigned as the company's CEO
(though he remains an owner) and
returned to recruiting full-time.
Today, Heitland and QMR employ three
full-time recruiters and two part-time
researchers.
